Position Summary:
SOFtact Solutions is seeking a proven ServiceNow platform architect to provide technical direction of the ServiceNow platform, acting as the key technical architect for solution definition, implementation, and deployment; handling any known issues; mitigating risks; maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, as the lead ServiceNow architect, this resource possesses the technical knowledge and experience to provide architectural oversight, direction, and decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience in implementing ServiceNow-Solutions, developing the platform, and working technical solutions for customer problems using the ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Facilitate discovery and requirements gathering workshops with a variety of executive, leadership, process, technical, and end user stakeholders
- Lead the solution design and implementation efforts
- Provide solution options and approaches and facilitate customer decision making, when necessary
- Design reusable solution components and approaches that will assist in subsequent implementation projects
- Advise on business process and service management best practices
- Demonstrate the product, both standard and tailored, to prospects and existing customers
- Forge strong relationships within the ServiceNow organization and community to collaboratively serve the needs of current or potential clients

- Deep and broad knowledge of the ServiceNow platform (4+ years)

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience leading enterprise IT initiatives for the U.S. Army and/or the Department of War
- Experience managing projects using Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management
- Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting federal government IT programs is highly preferred
